It has 2 modes:
Hammer Drill Mode: perfect for drilling and coring into concrete, brick and stone with the 4 included drill bits
Breaker Mode: perfect for knocking down walls, chimneys, chipping tiles and plaster, and breaking up concrete. As well as driving rods/posts or cutting trenches into soil and clay if used with the correct attachments
It's a nice complete set in really good condition
