The Four Faces of Ireland: Around the base, the vessel is hand-inscribed with the names of four iconic Irish waterways:
1. LAGAN (Belfast)
2. LIFFEY (Dublin)
3. LEE (Cork)
4. CORRIB (Galway)
Symbolic Artistry: Each face is individually sculpted with distinct features, evoking the spirit of the "River Gods" or ancient Celtic deities.
Technique: Exceptional hand-cut triangular piercings across the body and lid. The interplay of light through the lattice makes it an ideal decorative piece or candle jar.
Glaze: A stunning "high-fire" glaze with a crackle finish in places, showing deep blues, teals, and stony greys.
Authenticity: Signed with initials on the rim and retains the original Michael Kennedy Ceramics gold foil sticker on the base.
