Ocha Teapot
This wonderful red and gold Ocha teapot is made of cast iron, with stainless metal filter. Internally it has a layer of enamel, which ensures the safe and continuous use of water.
Not only are cast iron teapots beautiful items that you can proudly display in your tea nook, but they are also a simple and functional way to brew a great cup of tea. Made from solid cast iron, these teapots are known for their excellent heat retention, so your tea will stay hotter for longer after brewing. While you can use some cast iron teapots on the stove, most come with an interior enamel coating and exterior paint, making them more suitable for making tea using preheated hot water.
- ATTENTION DO NOT WASH IN THE WASHING MACHINE AND IN GENERAL WE DO NOT USE SOAP OR RUB. Its cleaning is done with warm water and a soft sponge or cloth.
In Japan, the cast iron tetsubin was traditionally used to heat water before making tea or matcha. Western cast iron teapots draw inspiration from the traditional Japanese tetsubin and are often even referred to by the same name.
This was bought on Etsy for E47 and never used as I have a second one. Perfect condition.
