Connor Maguire ARUA Signed Limited Edition Print

Superb original limited-edition coloured linocut by Belfast-born Irish artist Connor Maguire ARUA, titled “Man With Horns.”

A particularly striking piece of contemporary Irish printmaking, composed as nine graphic panels forming a fragmented human face. The strong red and golden-yellow palette gives the work enormous visual impact and makes it particularly effective in a contemporary interior.

This is an original artist-produced linocut rather than a reproduction, from a very small edition of only 20 impressions.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Connor Maguire (b. Belfast, 1977) studied at the University of Ulster and works across painting, drawing and printmaking, including woodcuts and linocuts. He has exhibited at both the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) and Royal Ulster Academy (RUA) and was shortlisted for the Artist & Illustrators Artist of the Year. The National Gallery of Ireland also records his participation in the Zurich Portrait Prize.

In 2024 Maguire was elected an Associate Royal Ulster Academician (ARUA), adding considerably to his standing within contemporary Northern Irish art.

CONDITION

Very well presented behind glass with a wide white mount and understated dark frame.

Please study photographs for exact condition. The interior photograph is included to demonstrate scale and how the work presents when hung.
