I have 3 original CDV photos relating to Charlotte Bronte, The Parsonage and Haworth Church.

These images are very rare and date from the 1860's produced as souvenir items for literary tourists who started arriving in Haworth after reading Mrs. Gaskell's The Life of Charlotte Bronte published in 1857.

Each image has a rare stamp on the back that reads J. Moore, Haworth, Chemist.

The picture of the Parsonage was taken prior to 1861 before the Rev. John Wade added the gable wing.

John Moore was a chemist, druggist and photographer who traded as a chemist on Main Street, Haworth, from 1854. He was born circa 1830 and died 1891.
