Hebe sutherlandii is a small, evergreen sub-shrub with a low, mound-forming habit, Small, lustrous, silvery-green leaves give year-round, ground-covering interest. In May and June, and continuing through summer, pretty spikes of tiny white flowers are a magnet for bees and butterflies. Shrubby veronica Sutherlandii is easy to grow, requiring little pruning, and will thrive in a container.
