Anemanthele lessoniana also known as Pheasant's tail grass or New Zealand wind grass is a very attractive large clump forming grass with narrow, olive-green leaves that streak with yellow, red and orange in the Autumn. Commonly known as pheasant’s tail grass, it bears slender feathery purplish flower heads in summer. Excellent planted in a container.
