Larix Kaempferi are deciduous trees of conical habit, with good autumn colour from the soft, needle-like leaves which are borne in whorls on spur-like lateral shoots and spirally arranged on young growth; small ovoid cones persist on the branches An uncommon, narrow-pyramidal to upright-columnar form, w/ attractive, bluish, glaucous foliage that turns yellow-orange in the fall before dropping. 12' tall & 4' wide after 10 years. Eventually gets 15-40' tall & 5-15' wide
