Cerastium tomentosum aka Snow-in-Summer
Snow-in-Summer (Cerastium tomentosum) is a hardy, low-growing perennial that forms a beautiful carpet of silvery-grey foliage covered in masses of bright white flowers throughout the summer months. Reaching just 15–25 cm in height but spreading up to 1.5 m (5 ft) across, it is perfect for rockeries, borders, slopes, and sunny garden spaces. Easy to grow and drought tolerant once established, it provides long-lasting colour and excellent ground cover.
