Vintage Steam Engine Print
Scenes from the 1930s and 1940s continue to be popular, especially if their subject is a steam engine like The Great Western. And there is plenty o see here - the boys shouting to the engine driver, the lady seated demurely on the station bench beside the milk churns, the passengers trailing out to catch the country bus, and maybe there will be a passenger, too, for the waiting taxi. An idyllic country scene, before World War 2 began and the world changed forever.
Nice wooden frame.
Measurements. 54 by 44 cms.
