For sale is a charming mid-19th-century steel engraving titled EXMOUTH, featuring detailed period hand-colouring.

Drawn by well-known Exeter artist George Townsend (1813–1894) and published by Henry Besley at the Directory Office, South Street, Exeter (c. 1850s). The scene provides a wonderful historical view across the estuary with local shipping, barges, and Exmouth town rising in the background.

Presented in an elegant Hogarth-style black and gold frame with wash-line mount detailing and original brass hanging ring, ready to hang.
