Titled 'childhood memories' Artist Martina O'Connor
This orifinal one off piece was inspired by the wooded grove at Granny's home. 1he broken porcelain pieces reflect the memories of exploring the grove and the endless branches and all the new saplings reaching for the light. The porcelain was used as it is easy to mould and impress just like as in childhood when our own development takes shape....encouraged and supported at all times by a wonderful grandmother. When fired the porcelaim becomes strong just aa we strengthen in our own lives. Some of the memories are scant and a bit broken but reflect the beauty still intact in the porcelain and the childhood days.
