Original photograph- Bad Eddie

The framed photograph depicts *Bád Eddie* (also known as "Eddie's Boat" or originally *Cara na Mara*—"Friend of the Sea"). It is an iconic, famous fishing boat wreck located on Magheraclogher Beach in Bunbeg (in the Gaoth Dobhair/Gweedore region of County Donegal).
The boat ran aground in 1977 when its owner, Eddie Gillespie, brought it ashore for minor repairs. The work was never completed, and the hull was left to the elements. Over the decades, the wreck has become one of the most recognizable tourist attractions and photography spots along the Wild Atlantic Way. It notably appeared in the 1986 music video for the song "In a Lifetime" by Clannad and Bono.
The back of the picture features the poem "The Boat at Magheraclogher" by Eamonn Bonner, signed and dated 2015.
A label bears a handwritten description referencing the location (*Bád Eddie*, Magheraclogher).
