​About the Artist

​Marty Garland is a celebrated self-taught Irish visual artist born and bred in Belfast, now based from his studio in Dundalk, Ireland. After spending nearly 40 years running his own business in graphics and sign design, he transitioned to focus fully on his fine art.

​Garland’s impressionistic landscapes and figurative works have earned significant acclaim. He has exhibited extensively, including with the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA), the Royal Ulster Academy (RUA), and the Mall Galleries in London. His work is featured in various public and private collections, including the permanent collection at the Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT).
