Large Vintage Oil Painting Summer Flowers in Green Vase Ornate Gilt Frame

Title: Large Vintage Oil Painting – Summer Flowers in Green Vase – Ornate Gilt Frame

Beautiful large vintage original oil painting of a summer bouquet – roses, delphiniums, snapdragons, sweet williams and anemones – in a green vase on a polished table, with a fallen rose and petals. Hand-painted on canvas, not a print. Signed lower left (indistinct). Probably mid-20th century.

Presented in a heavy ornate gilt frame with scrolled corners and cross-hatched pattern – a real statement piece.

Size: approx. 70 x 60 cm (28 x 24 in) including frame.

Condition: paint surface sound, with some light surface grime from age. Frame has a few chips and small losses to the corners and some wear to the gilding, as you'd expect for its age. Original wooden stretcher and chain hanger on the back.

Would look stunning over a fireplace, in a hallway or dining room.
