Japanese Ukiyo-e Woodblock Reprint / Toyokuni Style / Framed / c. mid-20th century
Beautiful framed Japanese ukiyo-e style print, showing a traditional bathing scene with a woman in a wooden tub.
The red signature cartouche appears to be in the Toyokuni style, after a 19th-century ukiyo-e design.
This appears to be a 20th-century Japanese reprint, possibly Showa period, on traditional-style paper. It is not sold as an authenticated Edo-period original, but it is a lovely quality vintage decorative piece with strong Japanese character.
Size: 35 × 50 cm framed
Condition: framed, ready to hang, with age-related wear consistent with a vintage decorative print.
Ideal for collectors of Japanese decor, ukiyo-e, geisha/bijin-ga art, or vintage Asian interiors.
