Framed Print Napolenic French Army 1st Cuirassiers
The print showcases two trumpeters of the 1st Cuirassier Regiment, an elite heavy cavalry unit known for their distinctive breastplates.
The artwork is attributed to Carle Vernet in 1812, a renowned French painter and lithographer known for his military and equestrian scenes.
The print has a red stamp on the upper right hand side indicating it belonged to a library. I don't know whether it is real or not or just a print.
Frame measures 25" x 19"
