“PIQUE ASSIETTE” is a style of mosaic using broken ceramic shards, dishes and found objects. The pieces are cemented together to create a mosaic design. Unlike traditional mosaics, Pique Assiette uses non-uniform, irregular pieces it is an up cycling art form that gives new life to discarded or broken items.
