Charles Cullen Celtic warrior with crow

Offering a rare opportunity to acquire an original early-period mixed-media painting by the highly acclaimed Irish fine artist Charles Cullen (born 1939, Member of Aosdána).
Titled "Celtic Warrior, with crow", this vibrant piece stands out beautifully with atmospheric blue and earth-toned color washes. The neo-mythological composition features a heavily detailed, central shield design and a direct depiction of a crow perched prominently above the warrior—a classic representation of The Morrígan, the ancient Irish goddess of war, destiny, and sovereignty.
Cullen was a founding member of Dublin’s Project Arts Centre (1966) and the former Head of Painting at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD). His works are proudly held in permanent national collections, including the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) and the Hugh Lane Gallery.
This is a reluctant sale. I absolutely love the picture, but a lack of wall space means it is safely stored away rather than displayed. I am in no rush to sell, so lowball offers will be ignored.
