This framed piece is a vintage reproduction of The Last Supper fresco painted by Italian Renaissance artist Domenico Ghirlandaio

This is a 19th-century Arundel Society chromolithograph printed in 1866

The Arundel Society (active from 1848 to 1897 in London) was founded to preserve and popularize masterpieces of European art by commissioning top artists to make faithful watercolour copies, which were then reproduced as fine prints.

The Production: The text reveals the image was drawn and lithographed by C. Schultz and printed using complex multi-colour lithography(chromolithography) by Hangard-Maugé in Paris, a renowned printer of the era.

In excellent condition for its age, some minor marks on the frame.
