Features offering improved sound over the phone are of great importance to our customers and we’re pleased to see on the PowerTel 46 a good level of overall amplification offered, as well as an adjustable tone control. Sometimes it is not always about having more volume – being able to boost up just the higher frequencies within the incoming voice can make a significant difference.

The Amplicomms Powertel 46 offers 35dB amplification and doesn’t need mains power – simply plug into your existing phone socket. 35dB amplification is considered sufficient to cover mild, moderate, and moderate-severe hearing losses – but a fully adjustable volume control ensures safe hearing levels for any non-hearing impaired users.

You don’t have to wear a hearing aid to use these amplified phones, but, if you do and wish to make use of a telecoil/loop setting, the Powertel 46 has an excellent telecoil compatibility rating.
