Pilot - PDA

The 'Pilot 5000' was one of the very first generation of PDAs to be produced by 'Palm Computing' which in turn, was at the time a division of 'US Robotics'.

Introduced to the market in 1996, this unit is branded 'Pilot'  and pre-dates the name change to 'PalmPilot' which in turn, was due to a legal challenge by the 'Pilot' Pen Company over naming / usage rights.So slightly unique in itself.

This PDA, accessories and leather case are in outstanding condition. Please note that this early PDA was battery only. Ancient by today's standards (512kb) memory but highly collectible.

At the time, an upgrade to 1 MB actually cost $149. How times have changed***** The PDA - PC software is available to download.

The practically as new supersoft leather case (optional accessory) and original note pads, graffiti cards,manual etc are as good as you will find anywhere. This is an increasingly hard to find item especially in this condition.
