Mercury outboard from my late father. Was not started in approx. two decades.

Compression is good when starter rope pulled.

I do remember it being started and seeing it working.

However, sold as spares/repair. Grab a bargain!

Has been in our possession since 1968 or thereabouts.

Used about ten times on boat nigh 60 years (boat recently sold). Otherwise stored in dry shed.

All to go together.

Vintage Mercury Kiekhaefer 'Merc 60' Outboard Motor WITH original Mercury fuel tank

6.0 (six) horsepower

Year: 1965

Serial number: 1780238

Long shaft. About 23" from top of transom bracket to prop centre (see pic. Check that this is suitable for your boat as no returns accepted).


FUEL TANK:

ORIGINAL Mercury fuel tank and hoses also included. Rubber hose and primer bulb have hardened. Need replacing.

Tank itself seems in good condition. Bit of surface rust but I see no corrosion. Not tested.
