Obd11 is actually for VAG as well as vcds is for vag
Do you want to send me an offer so you can DM me and take this offline ?

Genuine obd11 , I used it all the time on an F30 335d and an X5 I just assumed itd be fine on Audi too. I have vcds but from what I can tell odis is the only software that can sort it. It doesnt affect anything but its just annoying having 12 unnecessary fault codes.

Very strange
Did you code the with genuine obd11 version or cracked when used obd11?

This reader will work with your car
The version of Odis will depend on up to what year the software will be compatible with

I’d say up to 22 should be ok
After that secure gateways are more complex as manufacturers have locked ecus down

Say if I get odis software on my laptop the interface should let it work on my car? I used obd11 to one click code but I wasn't aware Audi flag a dataset error if its not connected to their server while coding and odis is the only thing that can re parameterize the mmi. I have 12 stupid error codes for it now but they cant be cleared without it I believe.

Technically speaking yes this should work
It would have the correct protocols to connect to your car

I would advise you to do your own research
Also this is only the reader no software

I believe same reader would work on other cars like bmw and so on

Hi would this work on a 2016 Audi A7?
