No connecting wires, each sounder is totally autonomous and ready for use anywhere instantly. It comes in the form of a box/display attached to the top of a stand that contains a probe fixed to its base.

Simply install the sounder on the stern or side of a boat, adjust the length of the stand to submerge the probe, and switch on the device to see the depth of the bottom and the image of the aquatic environment displayed on the screen.
