Antique 1920s Egyptian Azute Black Shawl
Authentic vintage Egyptian assuit shawl. Popularised globally during the 1920s Egyptian revival movement following the discovery of Tutankhamuns tomb, this is a highly prized collector piece. Crafted using tulle-bi-telli technique featuring heavy, hand hammered metal strips woven into delicate cotton mesh. Geometric pattern from 1920s/1930s art deco era.
Has a couple of small holes no major flaws to note and in great vintage overall condition. Post €9 registered.
