This is a new tenor ukulele made by ukulele brand, Mr. Mai. It has a solid spruce top and solid spalted maple back and sides. The finish is gloss with decorative inlaid mother of pearl logo on the headstock. There are beautiful handmade abalone inlays around the edge and in the rosette. The inlays on the fretboard are mother of pearl and in the unique Mr. Mai style. The tuners on the uniquely shaped slot head are gold. The bridge and fingerboard are made of ebony wood. The body is slightly bigger than normal giving more sound and depth. The strings are D’Addario titanium. This ukulele usually retails for €350 in Europe not including shipping and without a case. This comes with a deluxe pod case with a padded neck rest and back straps which can be hidden away. The case alone is worth €50. This ukulele is extremely hard to get in Europe and at present can only be imported with VAT and import duty added on.
I can fit a strap button, Low G string or restring this to suit a left handed player if desired free of charge. Collection preferred but will post at buyer’s expense via A Post tracked delivery within Ireland.
