Full Size Violin
This violin holds a very special place in my heart. My parents bought it for me in 2000 from Cremona, formerly in Blackrock and now, I believe, based in Lucan. At the time it was 80 years old, so it is now 106 years old. It has a beautiful, rich sound, and the delicate flower design on the violin is made from real mother of pearl, as is the tip of the original bow. I also have a second, more modern bow. The reason I’m selling it is simple: it needs a good home. It hasn’t been played in quite some time because of my arthritis, and I’d like it to go to someone who will cherish and play it as it deserves.
