23 Ruffian Sailing boat - Refurbishment Project

€500

ABSOLUTE BARGAIN- PRICE REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE

23’ Ruffian Sailing Boat designed by Billy Brown and built by Weatherly Yachts in the 1970s/80s. Only one of approximately 200 made. This boat had been used on Strangford Lough but due to other priorities and ill health, the intention to refurbish it has not materialised. It is, however an ideal opportunity for someone who wants a project to purchase a reasonably priced boat. There are padded PVC covered cushions available, albeit they too will need some attention.

Was £900 - now £500.

@brackenmichael: I really apologise but unfortunately today doesn’t suit. I posted on behalf of my husband who is unwell at the moment. I can certainly not arrange any viewings before you’ve had a chance to view, but I’d say it would probably be Thursday of this week before we could arrange a viewing. Let me know when suits and I’ll send you our address and directions. Are you wanting additional photos before then?

@brackenmichael: It was originally listed for £950 sterling and I reduced it to £500 sterling for a quick sale. You’re welcome to come and view (Dromore,Co Down) but I’d need €600 for it. I can send you additional photos if you’ve a distance to come to view, to show you what level of renovation is required (basically a full refurb). Sails have been stored separately and the cabin cushions (although I’d suggest they need replacing) are also available. I don’t think I can attach the additional photos to this listing but if you want to send me your email address I can send them to you. Again I’m not sure you’ll be able to send your email address in full but if you give the initial part of the address with the ‘@‘ part added separately I can send on to you.

@Darraghocs: The hull is sound but other than that it needs a total renovation as it has been in our driveway (untouched) for quite a few years. The intention was for my husband to renovate it himself, however ill health has meant this hasn’t been possible and it’s therefore time to let someone else do this work and then enjoy sailing it.
