1986 Beneteau First 32 Sailboat

Jean Berret designed cruiser-racer from 1986. Rewarding and fun to sail; moves quicker than most other boats of the same length. Right in the sweet spot of being able to cover distances in some comfort while being forgiving to manoeuvre and berth.

Very reliable Volvo MD7B engine that starts first time every time.

Excellent set of kevlar laminate sails; main, no.1 genoa, no.2 jib plus spinnaker and storm jib.

Well setup on deck with all lines led back to the cockpit, four self tailing winches, spinnaker pole, adjustable backstay, tiller extension, etc. 90W of solar panels on adjustable mounts/davits on the stern with MPPT charger.

Very comfortable internally with a diesel heater, cooker with oven, etc. Standing headroom for most people. Could use some cosmetic work and electronics upgrades but the boat is ready to sail.
