Architectural Drawings / Planning Applications
If you can't afford to pay thousands for planning or construction stage drawings, or help with construction types & materials; I can offer the same service for a fraction of the price.
Architectural Drawing & Detailing, including assembling Planning Applications & advice relating to same. I also have extensive experience with regards to assembling Fire Safety Certification & Disabled Access Applications and can provide advice relating to same.
Similarly, if you are undertaking a domestic construction project without the need for planning, and engaging a contractor directly - I can provide an inexpensive project management service to ensure the work is being carried out correctly and in accordance with the current regulations.
UPDATE: I've been contacted a couple of times recently with regards to carrying out an independent survey/snag for prospective house buyers, and have done so with good results. Feel free to reach out if you have the need for such service, I can provide same at a very reasonable price.
ALSO, related to above and free of charge, if you have a construction-related query alone I would be happy to help with advice, as an example you may be in the middle of an extension and want an opinion on something separate from the contractor - feel free to reach out. Similarly, if you've received a quote from a contractor for construction work and feel that a second opinion on it from someone in the industry would be helpful, I'd be happy to help - I have an in-dept knowledge of what things should cost having worked as a contractor for a ling time)! Again, I wouldn't charge for this and you wouldn't be obliged to use my planning or drawing services, so don't be shy (I may not respond immediately but definitely within a day or so).
A little bit about myself,
I have an Honours Degree in Architectural Technology and a Masters Degree in Fire Safety Practice. I have been working at an architectural and project management level for the last 10 years and have a broad knowledge of the construction industry. Note and for reference, I recently worked as a Building Inspector with a local authority, currently I my role is Head of Quality & Compliance with a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
Thanks
Stephen
