Manfrotto 244RC Variable Friction Arm with quick release plate

Articulated arm with large locking knob. Variable friction and locking of arm obtained by adjusting the knob. Supplied with quick release camera plate with secondary safety lock based on the 200PL-14 camera plate mechanism. Ideal for mounting a photo or video camera exactly at the angle you need it. Fits any 5/8" female socket, works especially well with 035 Super Clamp.

Differs from the 244 through the quick release plate.

Description
The Manfrotto 196AB2 Arm is a single hinge arm with two sections. The upper arm has a 16mm spigot 3/8" light fixture. The lower arm has a 16mm spigot mounting with 1/4" mounting screw. The arm can carry about 1.5 kg and weighs less than half a kilogram. Thanks to the sliding extension system, lighting fixtures can easily be positioned, even in tricky and tight spaces. The maximum length of the arm is 60.5 cm.
