10-bit color depth

Embrace richer color details and enjoy more flexibility when color grading. The camera provides 10-bit color depth that can record more than one billion colors, delivering more natural color gradations and retaining more details for more options in post-production.

4K HDR

Capture highlight-shadow details stably. HDR video can restore highlight and shadow details, and the 10-bit color depth mode is enabled by default. Even in high-contrast scenarios, like sunrises and sunsets, the camera can still record 4K footage with natural lighting transitions and rich color details. You can also enable a stabilization mode to effectively eliminate camera shake, retaining image details in motion.

RockSteady 3.0

Thi generation of intelligent stabilization algorithm fuels the version of RockSteady EIS, which can effectively eliminate camera shake in all directions. It supports use while recording at up to 4K/120fps Action Camera, providing a stable and immersive first-person perspective.

HorizonSteady

This smart stabilization feature helps to eliminate camera shake in all directions, and even horizontally corrects tilt at any angle. That means footage can remain horizontally level, even through heavy bumps and 360 degree rotations. In addition, you can activate HorizonBalancing, which corrects the tilt horizontally within ±45 degree and supports recording stable 4K/60fps videos.

Dual touchscreens

A front touchscreen too. The front screen is convenient for vlogging and framing selfies and supports commonly used touch control functions. No more turning the camera around for parameter adjustments, mode switching, or video playback. When the camera is switched between horizontal and vertical orientations, the user interface adapts accordingly. The touchscreens are also sensitive enough to be operated easily with wet hands.

Voice prompt

Intuitive control, even if you can't see the screens. Short press the Quick Switch button and the camera will voice broadcast the current shooting mode. Even if the camera is installed on a helmet or other hard-to-see location, you can accurately select the required mode and be confident you'll never miss the moment you want to record. You can even add up to five sets of custom parameters to the shooting mode list.

Voice control

Remotely control your camera with just your voice. Ideal for scenarios where your hands are busy, the Action 3 recognizes voice commands with a high recognition rate, letting you stay locked into the moment.

Timecode

Align multi-camera footage quickly. Thanks to Action 3's built-in timecode function, you can efficiently synchronize footage from multiple cameras with your video processing software, saving time and effort when post-editing.

Stereo recording

Exceptional audio performance means more immersive results. Reception direction can be adjusted for more targeted and accurate sound recording. A hidden microphone at the bottom of Action 3 even suppresses wind noise, giving you more audio-recording confidence in windy or high-speed scenarios.

Connect external mics

The Action 3 is compatible with DJI Mic, which is portable, easy to mount, and features a transmission distance of up to 250 meters. The Action 3 can also connect other external microphones using a Type-C to 3.5mm cable.

Make it a webcam

The Action 3 can be used as a webcam for a more dynamic communication experience. Whether for meetings, classes, or just chatting with friends, easily switch between multiple perspectives and use the stereo sound for clearer conversations.
