Intel i5 14400F CPU (Faulty)

Don’t have the box for it.
The cpu seems to be faulty, I’ve had this in my pc for over a year and never had an issue until a few days ago, I changed a setting in bios to run an old game, then My pc randomly restarted itself constantly, It would boot into windows for a few minutes, Pc would restart back into windows and then restarts again, just an endless loop,I went back into bios to change the setting back but it didn’t seem to fix it,
I really do think it’s a simple fix for someone, The cpu never overheated I monitored temps,
And there’s no damage on the cpu itself anywhere. The fault seemed to fix when I tried a different cpu and it stopped doing the restarts which only makes believe the cpu has a fault,
