The Eizo RadiLight is an easy-to-mount light for RadiForce medical LCD monitors. The report rooms in which radiologists carefully study their recordings are usually darkened to prevent unwanted reflections on the monitor. It is, however, tiring for the eyes to look at a clear image for a longer period in a dark room. As a result, documents and instruments in the reporting room become less visible. The RadiLight comfort lighting is placed on the back of a RadiForce monitor and shines a subdued light on the wall behind the monitor. In this way, less concentrated light falls directly on the retina of the radiologist. This prevents tired eyes, while the images remain perfectly visible on the monitor.
