Roland JC-120 2 x 12 Vintage 1979

A well-used 1979 JC-120 (serial #829900), sold as surplus from a UK equipment purchase. Both channels sound fantastic — this amp has clearly earned its wear through real use. The onboard chorus/vibrato and reverb aren’t currently active, likely a dry solder joint or two after nearly 50 years, a common and usually straightforward fix for a tech.

Supplied in its original flight case (54kg total), marked “Banshees,” and understood via the previous owner to have been used by Siouxsie and the Banshees. The amp itself also carries a hand-written “Brother Sue” marking, consistent with road/touring use of that era.
Provenance is based on the case marking and information passed on at time of purchase — not independently verified, but offered in good faith as part of the amp’s history.

Sold as-is, priced to reflect both the effects fault and honest player wear.
