Reliq is a standalone hardware instrument designed to unify routing, sequencing, modulation, and performance within a single system.

At its core is a 16×16 clickless analog matrix mixer paired with a multi-track CV/MIDI sequencer, a dedicated modulation engine, and a high-resolution performance grid.

Reliq is designed to become the central instrument of a modern hardware or hybrid studio.

Includes the breakout module which allows it to be integrated into a Eurorack system.

Development is on going and latest is Reliq RLX1.8.0.

SELECT now works across the whole instrument. Enable it on any page and you can grab multiple things at once, connection points on the Matrix, faders on the Mixer, steps and whole tracks on the Sequencer, voices in the piano roll, clips, and modulation slots, then copy, paste, move or change them together. Adding swing to a group of tracks in one move can even act like a global swing.

Clip Sync gives each clip its own way of following time: Internal (its own cycle), Instant (right away), Global (the end of bar), or Track (follow another track), each with a reset option. It makes polymeters, odd lengths and larger structures much easier to work with.

Ratchets and accumulators now have their own trigger conditions. The note, the ratchet and the accumulator can each fire on a different cycle, so a pattern that looks simple on the grid can keep unfolding over much longer cycles.

MonoMaker is a new MIDI effect that collapses polyphonic material into a single monophonic line, with different ways to choose which voice leads, a bridge between harmony and melody, or between polyphonic MIDI and monophonic CV.

There is also a large GUI and performance rework, clip colours on sequencer tracks, routing names shown in the Matrix Sequencer, click-to-confirm CC selection, a new global MIDI metronome, faster boot, refined Drum Keys colours, and a long list of stability fixes.
