The Play+ is the upgraded successor to Polyend's very popular Play, adding six built-in synth engines (ACD, FAT, VAP, WTFM, PERC, DIRT) on top of a full sample-based groovebox workflow. You get 16 stereo tracks, a beautiful and intuitive backlit RGB pad grid, and one of the most creative step sequencers on the market — with per-step parameter locks, randomisers, Euclidean fills, and 35+ playback modes. Over 5,000 onboard samples included, and the microSD slot means you can load your own (I have loaded some samples but you can easily wipe it clean). The Play+ also works great as a sequencer for your other instruments: it has 8 polyphonic MIDI tracks and the step grid layout makes it very easily and fun to visualise. Latest firmware.
