Have something your planning on throwing out please put it up in the free section or you may even make some money from it. People will take pretty much anything. Turn off lights unless really necessary. Turn on heating only when necessary. There are many ways to help our planet and your pocket.
Try reduce your waste bin to once a month or every two months and recycle more.
There is free recycling at your local dump and if your recycling can't all fit in your bin leave it beside your bin and bin men will still take it.
Work throwing out items always get written permission that it's ok to take if you want or know someone that would want, verbal permission may not be enough.
Always think before throwing out something and you will even save yourself on bin charges while help save the planet.
