Video Doorbell is weather resistant with an internal seal that protects against water. The back plate is used for mounting to a wall and does not impact weather resistance. We recommend mounting Video Doorbell to your home by following these instructions.

Video Doorbell standalone does not include a Sync Module 2. Without a Sync Module, live view and two-way audio are available only in response to a doorbell press or motion event. Get these features on demand when wired or with a Sync Module.
