Step 1: Pair the Doorbell and Chime:

Press the power button behind the doorbell for 1 second to initiate the process. Plug in the chime and scan the QR code on the top of the chime with the EZVIZ app. Then follow the steps to finish the configuration.

Step 2: Select and install the mounting plate.

Step 3: Install the doorbell.

Step 4: Test the product and demonstrate product functionality.

The Doorbell Camera’s sensitivity to motion can be changed in the EZVIZ app. The doorbell camera’s detection range is approximately 5 Meters at the highest sensitivity and incrementally lower on lower settings.

A: Yes, there are U-shaped Wires and Wire Connectors in the package, so you can also choose to wire this doorbell.

Q: Does it work with a 5 GHz router?

A: Sorry, the DB2 doorbell camera kit does not work with 5 GHz routers. It only supports a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Connection.

Q: What is the furthest distance chime can be placed from the doorbell?

A: We recommend that you place the chime within 5 metres of the doorbell to ensure good signal strength.

Q: Can it do 24/7 constant recording？

A: Yes, you can set it through the EZVIZ app. But it is not recommended. Because it drains the battery quickly. To save battery power, we recommend that you choose [Motion Trigger Mode], which means that the camera will only record when there are people moving in the scene monitored. When the scene is stationary, it does not record. In this mode, the battery can last for up to 4 months on one full charge.
