Kralik Glass Green Iridescent Art Nouveau Vase c1900
A superb Bohemian green iridescent footed vase from the Art Nouveau period. Made by Kralik as part of their 'ribbed and twisted' range of Jugendstil art glass. Lovely writhen shape with moulded fluting and a great depth of colour and iridescence. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or repairs. Rare to find in such good order. Pontil mark to base. Height 16.5cm (6.5in)
The vase is made of a rich and radiant iridescent green surface which glistens with shades of blue, purple, pink and gold which appear to change as light dances over the dynamic twisted lobed body.
