1986 Washburn Monterey

Thin body, arch back construction.

Manufactured in Japan in 1986. I purchased it new in 1988 - see the receipt. In 2020 I replaced 7 frets and swapped out the original electronics (Washburn EQ300) for a Fishman Presys. The electronics had stopped working, I couldn’t source a replacement so I opted for the Fishman,which was a recommended replacement. I haven’t really played it much since then so fret wear is minimal. It was a working guitar for 30 years so it has acquired a number of dings in its lifetime but nothing serious.
This is a beautiful looking and sounding guitar. I am reluctantly selling it as I have recently purchased a Collings.
