Vintage Painted Pine Wardrobe Storage Press

Charming vintage two-door pine wardrobe in a soft duck-egg/teal blue, with a wonderful aged crackle finish that’s full of character. Each door features a hand-applied decoupage nursery rhyme scene (Jack and Jill, Hey Diddle Diddle) sealed under a lacquered glaze — a lovely original touch that sets this apart from a standard press.

Fitted with a working period brass Legge lock (made in England) and original turned wooden door pull. Inside: a hanging rail on one side and shelved compartments on the other, ideal for a child’s room, hallway, or as a statement storage piece anywhere in the home.

Solid and sturdy, with honest wear consistent with age — genuine vintage character, not a reproduction. Note one small split to left door panel, some paint loss — see photos.
