Vintage Hand Blown Amber Tall Glass Cocktail Jug or Vase 1960s

Fabulous increasingly rare gilt amber mid century artisan glass jug.
Evocative of many retro mid century to early 70s modern home interiors.
This is a hand blown, heavy glass jug.
The tapering body sits on a thick base which has a polished pontil mark to the underside.  There is an appliqué handle to one side. The clever spout has a beautiful form.
This most probably Czechoslovakian or Italian Mid-Century Modern carafe has a timeless elegance to it. The amber glass is a perfect pairing with the gold trim and would be a wonderful way to serve up your table water or beverages. There is practically no wear on the gold trim. In perfect condition without chips or cracks.
Very festive with its gold trim!
