Vintage 1970s Mahogany Home Bar Set, Green Velvet, Marble Top, Mirrored Back Bar and 3 Stools

Genuine 1970s home bar set in mahogany from a family home, a real conversation piece for a games room, man cave, garden room or retro interior.

The set includes:

- Curved bar counter with a padded green velvet front in vertical panels and a padded velvet armrest along the top edge. The top is genuine Italian marble, cream with grey veining, in sections with a real brass edge trim, set on a mahogany plinth.
- Matching back bar wall unit: a mahogany cabinet base with three green velvet panel doors and a marble top with brass trim, and above it three arched mirrors with glass shelves on brass coloured uprights. Lots of room for bottles and glasses.
- 3 matching bar stools with round padded green velvet seats with a centre button, brushed metal columns and footrings, and heavy domed metal bases.

Size: the bar counter is a quarter circle with a 180 cm radius, about 283 cm long along the curve, 50 cm deep and 102 cm high. The back bar wall unit is 148 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 245 cm high. The stools are 80 cm high with 40 cm diameter seats.

Condition: original and unrestored, with honest wear for its age. The velvet on the bar front, armrest, door panels and stool seats is faded and crushed in places, with lighter patches from use and a few small marks on the stool seats. The joins between the marble sections are visible. The metal stool bases and footrings are dulled, with light scuffs and some small spots. It has been in use in the house up to now. It would come up well with a clean, or could be reupholstered for a fresh look. Please look at the photos and come and view before buying.
