Vintage 1960s Rattan Crib Cradle on Castors with Canopy Arm

Beautiful mid century rattan and bamboo cradle from the 1950s or 60s, in the French and Dutch style (unbranded). Bent rattan rod basket with cane binding, splayed legs on four small metal castors, and the original tall curled canopy arm for draping a voile or net.

Size: 106 cm long, 65 cm wide, 77 cm high.

Good vintage condition with honey patina and age marks. Please note one leg has a small split in the rattan just below the cane binding near the castor. It stands solidly, but it is priced to reflect that. No mattress or canopy fabric included.

Sold as a decorative vintage piece: lovely in a nursery for dolls or teddies, as a blanket or toy basket, plant stand, or for photo shoots. It does not meet modern cot safety standards, so it is not for a sleeping baby.
