Scandinavian mid-century sofa

Beautiful Danish/ Scandanavian mid-century three-seater sofa, attributed to designer Erik Wørtz, c.1960s.

It has a teak frame, slender tapered legs and sculpted arms. The slatted back has double rounded/bullnose rails.

The frame is in very good vintage condition, it is completely solid with no wobble, and its colour and grain look good with some age-related wear. The three loose seat cushions and three buttoned back cushions are upholstered in a neutral grey/blue textured fabric, I don’t think these are original although they are high-quality see one of the pictures I have opened the zipper and you can see that the cushion underneath looks quite new and it is a firm and comfortable sit.

Purchased approximately ten years ago from a specialist vintage furniture dealer.
