Petite Oval Bevelled Early 20th Century Frameless Mirror with Original Chain

This is a pretty mid sized oval mirror in great condition for its age. A couple of tarnish spots on the mirror silvering otherwise quite bright with minimal fogging.
Very elegant with diamond bevelling where the facets catch the light. Eyecatching.
Possibly interwar period with a hardwood backing.

The frameless mirror became very fashionable after the heavy wooden oval portrait framed mirrors of the Victorian era were abandoned.
Lovely decorative piece for a living area, hallway or bedroom. Period piece.
Also not extremely heavy so easy to hang! The chain could also be repositioned to show more or less!
