Mid 20th Century English Embroidered Tapestry Fire Screen of Blacksmith Horse and Hound
Vintage Blue Enamel French Cookware.
This is a set of lovely retro enamel cooking pots with lids in a deep blue color from French cookware company Cousance.
Cousances was a brand of enameled cast iron cookware ("cocotte" in French) originally manufactured by a foundry in the town of Cousances-les-Forges in northeastern France. The Cousances foundry began making cast iron pans in 1553. Four centuries later, in 1957, the brand was acquired by Le Creuset Cookware under the Cousances brand continued to be manufactured by Le Creuset into the early 1980s.
Good vintage condition with some surface marks and scratches on the outside but Very clean on the inside.
Dimensions :20 cm & 22 wide (imprinted on the base of both.)
To note: The bases differ. One solid one griddle. Also the lids although original are not as heavy as the le Creuset lids we are familiar with today.
